福井崇郎

Takao Fukui is a Japanese politician and urban development consultant currently serving as the Mayor of Fukutsu City, Fukuoka Prefecture. Born in 1988 in the Goto Islands, Nagasaki, he holds a background in political science from Kyushu University. Before his election as mayor in 2025, he served two terms as a member of the Fukutsu City Council, where he focused on parliamentary ICT research and construction environment issues. As a community development professional, he founded the consulting firm Atarimae Lab and led various regional revitalization projects in Itoshima and Fukutsu. His political platform emphasizes economic revitalization through local development and transparent governance regarding municipal financial management.
