Takashi Kawatsu is a Japanese politician currently serving as a member of the Ibaraki Prefectural Assembly, representing the Mito City and Shirosato Town constituency. A seven-term veteran of the assembly, he previously served as the 111th Speaker of the Ibaraki Prefectural Assembly starting in 2019.
