中村卓資

Takashi Nakamura is a Japanese politician currently serving as the Mayor of Sakura City in Tochigi Prefecture. Born in 1968, he spent thirty years as a municipal employee, serving in roles such as head of the school education division and the health promotion division within the Sakura City government. In 2025, he resigned from his position as a city official to run for mayor, criticizing the incumbent administration for a perceived lack of speed and regional bias in policy implementation. He won the April 2025 mayoral election, defeating the three-term incumbent by a narrow margin of 165 votes.
