Nobuhide Takemura

Nobuhide Takemura is a Japanese politician and certified public accountant currently serving as a member of the House of Representatives. Born in Kusatsu, Shiga, he graduated from Keio University and worked as a policy secretary before entering politics. Since his first election in 2012, he has held various government positions, including Parliamentary Vice-Minister of Cabinet Office and State Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries. He currently serves as the Chairman of the Committee on Financial Affairs of the House of Representatives. Takemura is known for his conservative policy stances, including support for constitutional amendment and opposition to selective separate surnames for married couples.
