加藤剛士

Takeshi Kato is a Japanese politician currently serving as the Mayor of Nayoro in Hokkaido. Born in 1970, he is the son of former Hokkaido Prefectural Assembly member Tadakatsu Kato. After graduating from Otaru University of Commerce, he worked at Chiyoda Mutual Life Insurance and later managed his family's hotel and restaurant business. Kato entered politics in 2010, winning his first mayoral election at the age of 39, and has since been re-elected multiple times, currently serving his fifth consecutive term. He has also served as the chairman of the National Association of Young Mayors.
