Takuya Abe is a Japanese politician currently serving as a member of the Shizuoka Prefectural Assembly, representing the Hamana and Tenryu wards of Hamamatsu City. First elected to the prefectural assembly in 2007, he is now in his fifth term. Previously, he served as a member of the Hamakita City Council and worked as a policy secretary for members of the House of Representatives. His political focus includes regional sovereignty, urban development, education, and industrial promotion. He is a graduate of Tokai University and completed a program at Georgetown University.
