Tanya Richardson is an Australian politician serving as the first popularly elected Mayor of the City of Swan in Western Australia. A nurse by profession and a former Australian Army Reserve medic, she previously represented the Pearce Ward as a councillor starting in 2019. Richardson is a mother of four and a resident of Guildford. Since her election as mayor in 2023, she has focused on community advocacy, health and wellbeing, and managing the rapid growth and infrastructure development of the City of Swan.
