Tara Armstrong

Tara Armstrong is a Canadian politician serving as a Member of the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia for the electoral district of Kelowna-Lake Country-Coldstream. Initially elected as a member of the Conservative Party in 2024, she later co-founded the OneBC Party before transitioning to sit as an Independent in December 2025. Armstrong has gained significant attention for her controversial legislative proposals regarding gender transition treatments and the British Columbia Human Rights Code, as well as for her use of rhetoric criticized as being linked to Nazi ideology during debates on Indigenous treaties.
