Gordon Krantz

Gordon Krantz is a Canadian politician who has served as the Mayor of Milton, Ontario, since 1980. First elected to public office as a town councillor in 1965, he has held his current mayoral position for over four decades, making him the longest-serving mayor of a major municipality in Canada. Throughout his tenure, he has overseen significant local infrastructure projects, including the development of the Milton Sports Centre and the Mattamy National Cycling Centre. Krantz previously worked as a business owner and a part-time firefighter before dedicating his career to municipal governance.
