Taufik Hidayat

Taufik Hidayat is an Indonesian politician and former professional badminton player who currently serves as the Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports of Indonesia. Widely regarded as one of the greatest men's singles players in history, he is an Olympic gold medalist, a former World champion, and a two-time Asian Games gold medalist. Known for his exceptional backhand technique, he dominated the international circuit during the early 2000s. Following his retirement from professional sports, he transitioned into public service and sports administration, eventually assuming his current ministerial role.
