Terrell McKinney is an American politician serving as a member of the Nebraska Legislature, representing the 11th district since 2021. As the 14th Black member in the history of the state's unicameral legislature, he has focused on legislative initiatives including financial literacy requirements for students and banning employment discrimination based on ethnic hairstyles. McKinney is a proponent of community support for Omaha's Black population and is actively involved in bipartisan efforts to reform the criminal justice system through the Future Caucus Innovation Fellowship.
