Terresa Lynes is an Australian local government politician currently serving as the Mayor of the City of Gosnells in Western Australia. A long-time resident of the area for over 30 years, she was first elected as a councillor in 2015 and subsequently served as Deputy Mayor before being elected Mayor in 2021. Lynes is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and holds a Diploma of Local Government. Her political priorities focus on social cohesion, environmental protection, community safety, and responsible financial management. In addition to her mayoral duties, she chairs the National Growth Areas Alliance Strategic Advisory Committee and serves on the WALGA State Council.
