Thierry Baudet

Thierry Baudet is a Dutch politician, author, and the founder and leader of the Forum for Democracy (FvD) party. First elected to the House of Representatives in 2017, he has served as a prominent, albeit controversial, figure in Dutch politics known for his national conservative, Eurosceptic, and increasingly radical right-wing views. Throughout his career, he has been a vocal critic of the European Union, immigration, and mainstream political consensus, while frequently promoting various conspiracy theories. His political trajectory has been marked by significant shifts in ideology, including his vocal support for Vladimir Putin and his controversial rhetoric regarding race, COVID-19, and historical events. Despite internal party splits and widespread criticism from political peers, he remains an active member of the Dutch parliament.
