Thilina Tharuka Samarakoon is a Sri Lankan politician and bank officer currently serving as a Member of Parliament for the Anuradhapura Electoral District. Elected to the 17th Parliament of Sri Lanka in 2024 as a representative of the National People's Power (NPP), he secured his seat with 49,730 preferential votes. Prior to his legislative career, Samarakoon worked as an assistant manager at the Regional Development Bank, a position he has held since 2006. He is a graduate of Rajarata University of Sri Lanka, where he studied business management.
