Thomas Röwekamp

Thomas Röwekamp is a German politician and lawyer who has served as a member of the Bundestag since 2021, currently chairing the Defence Committee. Prior to his federal career, he was a long-standing member of the State Parliament of Bremen from 1991 to 2021, where he served as parliamentary group chairman and as the city's Senator for the Interior. During his tenure in state government, he implemented structural reforms within the Bremen Police and held the position of vice-mayor. He remains a prominent figure within the Christian Democratic Union.
