Thomas Tayebwa is a Ugandan politician and lawyer serving as the Deputy Speaker of the Parliament of Uganda since 2022. Representing Ruhinda North County, he is a member of the National Resistance Movement and was re-elected to his position in 2026. In 2025, he assumed the role of President of the Organisation of Africa, Caribbean and Pacific States Parliamentary Assembly. Throughout his career, Tayebwa has advocated for regional integration, fair trade, and the strengthening of African sovereignty.
