Tim Longest

Tim Longest is an American politician serving as a Democratic member of the North Carolina House of Representatives for the 34th district. Born in Greenville and raised in Elizabeth City, North Carolina, he pursued a legal career before entering public office. Longest earned his bachelor's degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2013 and his Juris Doctor from the University of North Carolina School of Law in 2018. He was first elected to the state legislature in 2022 and currently serves on several committees, including those focused on education, finance, and disaster recovery.
