
Tineke Schokker

Tineke Schokker-Strampel is a Dutch politician and administrator affiliated with the Christian Democratic Appeal (CDA). She began her career as a teacher and manager in the education and tourism sectors before entering politics as a member of the Provincial Council of Friesland in 1999. She later served as a provincial deputy and held the position of mayor of Vlieland from 2015 to 2021. Most recently, she served as the acting mayor of Tietjerksteradeel from 2025 to 2026. In 2026, she declined a seat in the Senate due to personal mobility concerns.
