松井督治

Tokuji Matsui is a Japanese politician and former broadcaster currently serving as the Mayor of Kunisaki. Before entering politics, he had a long career at Oita Broadcasting System (OBS), where he worked as an announcer and eventually held executive roles including Director of the News and Production Bureau. He holds a PhD in Economics from Oita University, focusing his research on regional development and the role of media in local revitalization. Matsui was elected as the Mayor of Kunisaki in February 2023 and assumed office in March of that year, running as an independent candidate.
