Toni Varone

Toni Varone is a Canadian business executive and politician serving as a member of the Senate of Canada. Appointed to the Senate on the advice of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau in December 2023, he represents the province of Ontario. Prior to his appointment, he served as the president of Varone Group Inc., a family-operated business with interests in hospitality, property management, home building, and development. He is notable for being the first Italian Canadian senator appointed since 2012.
