Tonny Awany is a Ugandan politician currently serving as a Member of Parliament for Nwoya County in the eleventh Parliament of Uganda. A member of the National Resistance Movement, he has held leadership roles within the legislature, including serving as the vice chairperson of the parliamentary committee on physical infrastructure and the parliamentary land committee. Prior to his parliamentary career, he served as the first Secretary and Acting Deputy Head of Mission at the Uganda Embassy in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. He also previously acted as the chairperson of the COVID-19 Select Committee.
