Tonya Pfaff

Tonya Pfaff is an American politician and former educator who has served as a member of the Indiana House of Representatives for the 43rd District since 2018. A native of Terre Haute, Indiana, she spent much of her professional career as a public school mathematics teacher, an experience that heavily informs her legislative priorities in education policy and school funding. In the state legislature, she serves on the Ways and Means, Education, and Elections & Apportionment committees, where she acts as the ranking Democrat. Her policy focus includes supporting K-12 education, local economic development, and family support measures.
