Tore Onshuus Sandvik is a Norwegian politician serving as Norway's Minister of Defence since February 2025. Previously, he served as the County Mayor of Sør-Trøndelag and later Trøndelag from 2003 until 2023, and held the role of acting Minister of Climate and the Environment in late 2024. Throughout his career, he has also worked with the Norwegian Confederation of Trade Unions and as a State Secretary in the Ministry of Trade and Industry.
