Tram Nguyen is an American politician serving as a member of the Massachusetts House of Representatives for the 18th Essex District. Born in Vietnam and immigrating to the United States as a child, she previously worked as an attorney at Greater Boston Legal Services, where she advocated for vulnerable communities, including survivors of domestic violence and low-wage workers. As a legislator, she has focused on public education funding, environmental sustainability, and healthcare access. She is the first Vietnamese American woman elected to the Massachusetts legislature and currently serves as the Chair of the House Committee on Climate Action and Sustainability.
