Tulia Ackson

Tulia Ackson is a Tanzanian politician and legal scholar who served as the Speaker of the National Assembly of Tanzania from 2022 to 2025. She also served as the President of the Inter-Parliamentary Union beginning in October 2023. Prior to her parliamentary career, she worked as a law lecturer, associate dean at the University of Dar es Salaam School of Law, and Deputy Attorney General.
