Tunji Alausa

Tunji Alausa is a Nigerian physician and politician serving as the Minister of Education since October 2024. He previously served as the Minister of State for Health and Social Welfare under President Bola Tinubu's administration from August 2023 to October 2024. A board-certified nephrologist, Alausa completed extensive medical training and residency in the United Kingdom and the United States, including roles at Cook County Hospital and Rush University Medical School, before returning to public service in Nigeria.
