Víctor Manuel Castro Cosío is a Mexican politician currently serving as the Governor of Baja California Sur. A former teacher and union member, he began his political career with the Workers' Revolutionary Party before joining the Party of the Democratic Revolution and later the National Regeneration Movement. He has previously served as the municipal president of La Paz, a federal deputy in the Mexican Congress, and a state-level coordinator for the federal government. Castro assumed his current gubernatorial office in 2021.
