Véronique Riotton

Véronique Riotton is a French politician serving as a member of the French National Assembly for the 1st constituency of Haute-Savoie since 2017. A member of the Renaissance party, she has held significant parliamentary roles, including chairing the Delegation for Women's Rights and Equal Opportunities and previously serving as chair of the Sustainable Development and Regional Planning Committee. Before entering politics, she spent nearly two decades working in human resources. Riotton is known for her legislative work on circular economy laws and her advocacy for incorporating the concept of non-consent into the legal definition of rape in France.
