Vagondo Diomandé

Vagondo Diomandé is an Ivorian military officer and politician currently serving as the Minister of the Interior and Security. Born in 1960, he began his career in the military, eventually rising to the rank of Army Corps General. He previously served as the head of the Presidential Security Group and as the Chief of Staff to the President. Since 2019, he has held various ministerial positions, overseeing security and civil protection, and is widely regarded as a key security figure in the administration of President Alassane Ouattara.
