Alassane Ouattara is an Ivorian statesman and economist who has served as the President of Ivory Coast since 2011. Before his presidency, he held significant international roles, including Deputy Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and Governor of the Central Bank of West African States (BCEAO). He also served as the first Prime Minister of Ivory Coast from 1990 to 1993.
