Vahe A. Hakobyan is an Armenian politician and former public official born on June 12, 1971, in Yerevan. He previously served as the governor of Syunik Province from October 2016 until June 2018. Prior to his gubernatorial tenure, he worked in the mining industry, including serving as first deputy director general at the Zangezur Copper and Molybdenum Combine from 1996 to 1999.
