Val Hoyle

Val Hoyle is an American politician serving as the U.S. Representative for Oregon's 4th congressional district since 2023. A member of the Democratic Party, she previously served as the Oregon Commissioner of the Bureau of Labor and Industries from 2019 to 2023 and as a member of the Oregon House of Representatives from 2009 to 2017, where she held the position of House Majority Leader. Throughout her career, she has focused on labor rights, education, and healthcare policy. Hoyle is a graduate of Emmanuel College and has a background in sales, marketing, and legislative policy analysis.
