Valentin Hristov

Valentin Hristov is a Bulgarian politician and cardiologist currently serving as the 37th Mayor of Pleven Municipality. Elected in November 2023, he represents the GERB party. Before entering politics, he had a professional career in medicine, specializing in cardiology and internal diseases. He completed his medical degree at the Pleven University of Medical Sciences in 2000 and has held various medical roles within the local healthcare system. As mayor, he has focused on regional development, education, and addressing local infrastructure challenges.
