Valeria Cittadin is an Italian politician and trade unionist who has served as the Mayor of Rovigo since 2024, becoming the first woman to hold the position. Before entering politics, she worked as a teacher and held significant leadership roles within the CISL trade union, including serving as general secretary for the Rovigo and Venice branches. She also served as a school principal during the 2023-2024 academic year. Cittadin holds a degree in pedagogy from the University of Padua and was elected mayor with the support of a center-right coalition.
