Vedat Işıkhan

Vedat Işıkhan is a Turkish politician and academic who currently serves as the Minister of Labour and Social Security. Born in 1966 in Mardin, he pursued an extensive academic career at Hacettepe University, where he became a professor specializing in social work, stress management, and social policy. Before his ministerial appointment in 2023, he served as a presidential academic adviser and later as the deputy chairman of the presidential social policy board.
