Vicente Gonzalez

Vicente Gonzalez is an American politician and lawyer serving as the U.S. Representative for Texas's 34th congressional district since 2023, having previously represented the 15th district from 2017 to 2023. Born in Corpus Christi, he established a private law practice before entering Congress. Gonzalez is recognized as a conservative Democrat and co-chair of the Blue Dog Coalition. Throughout his tenure, he has participated in bipartisan negotiations and has occasionally broken with his party on issues such as firearms, transgender-related policies, and border security funding.
