Vickie Sawyer

Vickie Sawyer is an American politician serving as a member of the North Carolina Senate, representing the 37th district which encompasses Iredell and Mecklenburg Counties. A Republican, she has held various leadership roles within the legislature, including chair of the Senate Transportation Committee and co-chair of the Senate Transportation Appropriations Committee. Outside of her legislative duties, Sawyer is a licensed insurance agent and co-owner of Sawyer Insurance & Financial Services. She is an alumna of UNC-Charlotte, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Special Education.
