Vijayanand Kashappanavar is an Indian politician currently serving as a member of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly representing the Hungund constituency. A member of the Indian National Congress, he was first elected to the assembly in 2013 and secured his seat again in the 2023 elections by a significant margin. In addition to his legislative duties, he was appointed as the chairman of the Karnataka Sports Authority in January 2024. He is the son of former three-time MLA Shivashankarappa Rachappa Kashappanavar.
