Vilhjálmur Árnason

Vilhjálmur Árnason is an Icelandic politician who has served as a member of the Althing representing the South Constituency since 2013. Born in Sauðárkrókur, he previously worked as a police officer and led the Icelandic Police Officers Association. A member of the Independence Party, he has held various parliamentary roles, including chair of the Environment and Communications Committee, and currently serves as the secretary for his party. He has also represented Iceland within the European Parliament.
