Vishvaraj Singh Mewar

Vishvaraj Singh Mewar is an Indian politician and a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party currently serving as a Member of the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly for the Nathdwara constituency. A descendant of the historic House of Mewar, he entered electoral politics in 2023, defeating a five-term incumbent. He is known for his advocacy regarding historical accuracy in educational materials and his active involvement in cultural preservation, including public objections to the portrayal of Mewar history in media and textbooks.
