Volker Kieber

Volker Kieber is a German local politician currently serving as the Lord Mayor of Bad Krozingen. Before entering politics, he worked as a forestry engineer in Freiburg im Breisgau. He previously served as the mayor of Gottenheim from 2004 to 2014 before being elected to lead Bad Krozingen. Kieber has been a long-standing member of the regional council for the Southern Upper Rhine region and a member of the district council of Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald. He joined the Christian Democratic Union (CDU) in 2025.
