Wendy Dant Chesser

Wendy Dant Chesser is an American politician serving as a member of the Indiana House of Representatives for District 71. She assumed office in 2024 after being selected to fill a vacancy and subsequently winning the 2024 general election. Prior to her legislative career, she served as the chief director of corporate strategy and external affairs at the River Ridge Development Authority. She is an alumna of Indiana University Southeast and has focused her political platform on protecting established community infrastructure and economic development in Southern Indiana.
