Weng Chang-liang is a Taiwanese politician currently serving as the Magistrate of Chiayi County, a position he has held since December 2018. Born in Yizhu, Chiayi County, he was active in the Wild Lily student movement during his youth. Before his election as magistrate, he worked for the Chiayi County Government and served as the deputy minister of the Council of Agriculture in 2016. A member of the Democratic Progressive Party, Weng won the 2018 magisterial election and has since focused on regional development and local governance in Chiayi.
