Werner Horn

Werner Horn is a South African politician and lawyer who has served as a House Chairperson in the National Assembly of South Africa since July 2024. A member of the Democratic Alliance, he has been a Member of Parliament since 2014, representing the Free State province. Prior to his parliamentary career, he served as a councillor for the Mangaung Metropolitan Municipality from 2006 to 2014. Throughout his tenure in the National Assembly, Horn has held various shadow cabinet positions, including Shadow Deputy Minister of Justice, and served as the provincial chairperson of the Democratic Alliance in the Free State from 2020 to 2026.
