Xavier García Albiol

Xavier García Albiol is a Spanish politician and member of the People's Party who currently serves as the Mayor of Badalona. First elected to the city council in 1991, he has held the mayoral office three separate times, beginning in 2011, 2020, and most recently in 2023. Throughout his career, he has held various leadership roles within the People's Party of Catalonia and served as a member of the Spanish delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe. Known for his focus on local municipal policy, he has been a prominent figure in Catalan politics for over three decades.
