
Yasir Naqvi

Yasir Naqvi is a Canadian politician serving as the Member of Parliament for Ottawa Centre since 2021. Born in Karachi, Pakistan, he immigrated to Canada as a teenager and later pursued a career in law. Before his federal election, Naqvi had a significant career in Ontario provincial politics, where he served as a Member of Provincial Parliament and held several cabinet positions, including Minister of Labour, Minister of Community Safety and Correctional Services, and Attorney General of Ontario.
