Yasue Ogawa is a Japanese politician currently serving as a member of the Shiga Prefectural Assembly. Born in Naruto, Tokushima, she graduated from Okayama University and worked in the fashion industry before moving to Shiga in 1996. She founded the NPO 'B-mail Planning Office' to support women's community participation and child-rearing. Ogawa began her political career as a member of the Moriyama City Council in 2011, where she focused on school lunch programs and childcare support. Elected to the Shiga Prefectural Assembly in 2019, she has prioritized policies regarding education, welfare for the socially vulnerable, animal welfare, and measures to address population decline.
