Yasutaka Hotchi is a Japanese politician currently serving as a member of the Tokyo Metropolitan Assembly, representing Adachi Ward. After working as a secretary for several national and local politicians, including Kunio Hatoyama and Ichiro Kamoshita, he began his political career as a member of the Adachi Ward Assembly. He was first elected to the Tokyo Metropolitan Assembly in 2015. His policy priorities include educational reform, child-rearing support, disaster prevention infrastructure, and the revitalization of local communities through digital and social initiatives.
