前葉泰幸

Yasuyuki Maeba is a Japanese politician and former bureaucrat currently serving as the Mayor of Tsu in Mie Prefecture. After graduating from the University of Tokyo, he joined the Ministry of Home Affairs and held various administrative positions in local governments, including Miyagi Prefecture. He was first elected Mayor of Tsu in 2011 and has since secured four consecutive terms. His administration has focused on administrative reforms, such as reducing municipal staff numbers, and implementing social welfare policies like free medical care for children and subsidized community bus fares for the elderly.
