Yoshinori Hinata is a Japanese politician currently serving as the Mayor of Tsuru City in Yamanashi Prefecture. Born in 1967, he served in the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force before working in the private sector as a representative of Hinata-gumi. He entered local politics in 2015, serving three terms as a member of the Tsuru City Council. In November 2025, he was elected mayor after defeating the incumbent in a close race. His political platform focuses on promoting fair and equitable urban development for the residents of Tsuru.
